9. AGE INCIDENCE OF VICTIMS IN RELATION TO DIFFERENT ORGANS

The age incidence of victims in relation to different organs is shown in Table-IX.

The persons in the age group of 21-30 years showed predilection for majority of the organs involved in abdominal and pelvic trauma victims (117 injuries). This was followed by the age group of 31-40 years (85 injuries).

10. FREQUENCY OF MULTIPLE INTRA-ABDOMINAL INJURIES

Frequency of multiple organ injuries is shown in Table-X.

Majority of the cases had involvement of two organs (34.54%), followed by involvement of one organ (30%).

11. ASSOCIATED INJURIES IN ABDOMINAL AND PELVIC TRAUMA CASES

Plain abdominal and pelvic injuries (alone) were found in 10.65% of total cases. Associated injuries of two or more than two body regions/areas were found in majority of cases (55.74%) as shown in Table-XI and Figure-VII.
